HPQ Silicon CEO Discusses Strategic LOI with LN Innov and Novacium at Eurosatory 2026

In this interview, HPQ CEO Bernard Tourillon, from the Eurosatory 2026 defense and security exhibition in Paris, discussed the Company’s newly announced Letter of Intent with LN Innov’ and Novacium SAS to evaluate the development of a Canadian-based electric propulsion platform for North American markets.

During the interview, Bernard explained that the opportunity extends beyond drone motors alone. LN Innov is currently producing approximately 5,000 drone motors per month and is targeting production of up to 20,000 motors per month by the end of 2026. Because every four drone motors require approximately one battery pack, that production growth creates a significant addressable market for advanced battery technologies.

Bernard also highlighted that Novacium is already supplying customized battery solutions for drone manufacturers introduced through LN Innov’s network, demonstrating that the relationship is already generating commercial opportunities rather than being a purely exploratory initiative.

Key Highlights from the Interview:

✅ LN Innov is currently manufacturing approximately 5,000 drone motors per month and targeting up to 20,000 per month by the end of 2026
✅ More than 20 customers have tested LN Innov’s propulsion systems, with more than a dozen progressing to commercial orders
✅ Novacium is already developing and delivering customized drone battery solutions for industrial and defense applications
✅ HPQ’s ENDURA+ battery platform is being positioned as a potential battery solution for future North American drone and autonomous-system markets
✅ The LOI aims to evaluate replicating a commercially validated European model in North America

By Watching the Interview, You’ll Learn:

• Why Bernard believes this opportunity is about commercialization, not simply technology development
• How LN Innov’s growing motor production could create meaningful battery demand
• Why HPQ’s ownership position in Novacium and exclusive North American rights create strategic exposure to this emerging market
• How HPQ plans to participate in the growing drone, robotics, and autonomous systems sectors without becoming a drone manufacturer
• Why Eurosatory 2026 provided direct access to military, industrial, and drone-sector decision-makers evaluating next-generation battery technologies
